How to make your wedding day even more special using the perfect paper goods suite
One thing that every couple has to remember about their wedding days it that it is all about them. This means that you are likely to want to find ways to make things even more special and unique to you. There are a variety of ways that you can do this, however, one that might not consider is paper goods.
I recently met Lisa from Papered Wonders Inc during the Inspire Design Workshop in New Orleans. She gave a talk about including Stationary as a Design Element . Her impressive portfolio got me thinking about the use of paper goods since then.
What makes a paper goods suite the perfect way to make your wedding special? Let’s take a look at some of the best ways.
Create the perfect save the date
You should aim to send out your save the date cards around 6 months before your big day and this is the first opportunity to showcase your style and theme for your wedding day to your guests. This means that you are going to want to make sure that they make a good impression. Some bride and grooms haven’t decided on their theme by the time that they send out their save the date cards, so why not make them personal by adding in an engagement photo of you both. Simple yet stylish!
Invitations are the main focus
Of course, when it comes to paper goods for a wedding day, the main focus is always on the invitations. They often are created in order to follow the theme of your big day, giving your guests a sneak peek of what they can expect. Invitations come in a wide range of styles, sizes and colors meaning that it won’t be hard for you to tie everything together and create perfect paper goods to match your big day.
Hand out wedding programs
Whilst your wedding isn’t a show, sometimes you need to think of it as one, which means that you need to hand out wedding programs to your guests. Of course, this isn’t to tell them when the interval is, or where you will be selling ice creams, but is to give them a run down of the timings and plans for the day. Allowing them to think about when to squeeze in their child’s nap, or even better, when to ask the grandparents to come and pick them up so that they can boogie! They are also a great chance to embrace your paper goods even more and make sure that they really can make an impact.
Make a personal place name
If you have a table plan, then you are going to need to have a way for the guests to identify where they need to sit. This is possibly one of the simplest ways that paper can be used in your wedding day. Pre-folded tent cards are not only cost effective, but they can also be completely personalized which is a great way to make sure that you have your own stamp at every place in the table.
Get creative with paper
The great thing about paper is that you don’t have to just go for the “normal” routes with it. Paper is incredibly versatile and can be used in more ways than just invitations. You can use paper to create decorations, centerpieces, even your flowers.
This will help your big day to have the wow factor and make sure that everyone is impressed!
